NBBC Upcoming Sunday Services| Weekly Meetings| Ways of Giving in the Future

The privilege and responsibility God gives to Pastors is to shepherd those who belong to Him, and I take that responsibility seriously.  It is my responsibility to preach the Word of God.  In consideration of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we must strive to adjust to the rapidly changing circumstances, taking precautions to ensure that people are safe, and caring for one another in faithful and creative ways.

By order of the Jefferson County Health Officer, gatherings of 10 or more persons is prohibited unless the facility is of sufficient size to maintain a consistent six-foot distance between persons. It is also recommended by the Alabama Department of Health, that senior adults and people with chronic health problems avoid gatherings of more than 10 people outside of close family.

On Sunday March 22, 2020, at the usual time, I will preach at New Bethlehem Baptist Church (NBBC). My purpose for coming is to preach the Word, not to draw you to the Church. The service will be conducted by a few deacons and/or trustees and myself.  Members are encouraged to view the service online.  Service in its entirety will be live streamed on our website at: at 10:30 am, Facebook Live, and by  sermon audio. In addition, there will be no weekly meetings, until further notice.

We are in the process of establishing a method whereby you can pay your tithes and offerings online, however; it may not be available by Sunday, please continue to check our website frequently for future notices.  As we work through this situation continue to pray; pray for one another and for our country. The prayers of Saints availeth much.

                                                                             Thomas J. Rogers, Pastor
